The Bush Boutique is live!!

You would have had to be living under a rock to know 2020 hasn’t gone according to plan. We started the year with the most horrific bush fires our country had ever seen, throw in a global pandemic and living restrictions imposed on us for the first time in modern history and you have a recipe for a bumpy ride. Not to mention many a bush business has been dealing with the effects of a never-ending drought for the past three years! 2020 has had every small business owner questioning there own sanity and undoubtedly throwing their hands in the air and wanting to crawl under the before mentioned rock.

If I had a dollar for every time I thought ‘who is really going to want new shoes right now” no one can leave their house. I would never have to sell another pair of shoes again. I was one one of many bush based business women that were in this position.

However one thing Australia and the bush in particular deliver on is a never-ending fighting spirit and we have this in droves. When the chips are down we look for any way we can to flip them up. Any women in business can tell you juggling a family and a business is already a crazy task so to manage that and facing all the challenges that only a pandemic can bring then action needs to be taken.

Enter Danni from Meeraboo Candles based in Canowindra NSW, Danni saw that the hole that was going to be left for many businesses with the cancellation of the annual trade shows and decided to take matters into her own hands.
